Last week end September 14th to 16th, Cataluña Championships of P.R.E. horses EQUUS 2012 were held at "Fira de Girona" in Gerona, north of Spain.
The National association of P.R.E. horse breeders (ANCCE) was the organizer.
Best horses and mares were competing for the Cataluña Champion titles in all categories.
Good horses and extremely nice hand presentations and riding, were at Fira de Girona this event.
All the organizing team from ANCCE did a really good job during the event.

Luis Lucio and Alvaro Cabrera, were judging all the classes and good quality of horses and riding were noticed. Antonio López was acting as a ANCCE apprentice Judge.

The Olympic flame will visit Barcelona twenty years later
Up to 36 athletes and celebrities participating in the event the next day July 25
Luis Lucio , Spanish Olympic dressage rider in Atlanta 96 and Sidney 2000, will be the Equestrian representative.

Barcelona. (EFE). - Twenty years after the Games that changed Barcelona, ??the Olympic flame will travel the next day on July 25 the streets of the Catalan capital of the hand of 36 athletes and personalities as Gervasio Deferr, Gemma Mengual, José Antonio San Epifanio "Epi" or the former mayor Pasqual Maragall.
The celebration, presented today at the Olympic Museum and Sports Juan Antonio Samaranch in Barcelona, ??will have its starting point in the city of Barcelona, ??where on Wednesday 25 at 18.00 pm, Mayor Xavier Trias receive relievers.
It will be there when in 1992 the then mayor, Pasqual Maragall, light a torch that will leave the Plaza Sant Jaume and go through emblematic places as La Rambla and Plaza Catalunya down to the Avenue Stadium in Montjuic, where light a cauldron at the Olympic Museum.
In total there will be five miles up where 36 athletes and personalities from the world of sports are the real stars, either running with the torch or open-top bus carrying the will of the city.
This magical journey will start it just the last reliever that summer of 1992, the basketball player Juan Antonio San Epifanio "Epi", which will be followed by a list of medalists in various disciplines who participated in the Olympics.

Will Gemma Mengual (synchronized swimming), Albert Ferrer, Antonio Pinilla (soccer), José Maria Van der Ploeg, Natalia Via-Dufresne (sailing), Jordi Arrese (tennis), Ferran Martinez, Jose Antonio Montero (basketball), Elisabeth Maragall Quico Fabregas, Ramon Sala, Ignasi Escudé (hockey), Montse Esquerdo (fencing) and Eugenio Asencio, the referee took the oath at the Games.
Also the Paralympic Neus Alvarez, Rosalia Lazarus (athletics) and Eric Villalon (skiing), and the representative of the volunteers Miquel López, Josep Maria Casanovas journalists, Alberto Montenegro, Xavier Bonastre, Cristina Cubero and Xevi Bardolet and President of the Catalan Federation of Triathlon, Lluís Jesus Andreu.
And finally, Jose Alberto Recuero athletes (wrestling), Luis Lucio Perez (equestrian), Marta Vilajosana (cycling), Carles Lerin (pentathlon), Jordi Font (snowboarding), Jaume Fort (handball), Melcior Mauri (cycling ), Javier Argudo (taekwondo), Sergi and Daniel Ballart Pedrerol (water polo).
The Olympic champion Gervasio Deferr will be the last reliever of a journey that will end at 19.30 at the Olympic Museum, where it will light a cauldron simbólico.Además, you will find a sculpture commemorating the 92 Olympics, the "Olympic Archer" of 2.5 meters high, designed by the sculptor Rosa Serra.

Great facilities owned by Patxi Mangado and good organization under Technical Direction of Jose Manuel Lucena, with more than 150 horses were competing during three days at Robledales de Ultzama Centre.

"KK Delia CH" owned by Claudine & Martin Kroll (SUI) was in 6 years old horses FEI test competing and doing better results than in its debut 3 weeks ago in Valencia.
“Favorito” in Small Tour and “Os Nervi” in Big Tour were the three horses ridden by Luis Lucio in Zenotz.

Morphological P.R.E.Competitions
Norwish Championships P.R.E. horses.
Luis Lucio judged Norway P.R.E. Championships.

Last week end June 9, Norwish Championships of P.R.E. horses were held at Lefdals Rideskole in Toensberg, Norway.

Best horses and mares were compiting for the Norway Champions title in all categories.
Good horses and riding, nice facilities and pasionated public were at Lefdals Rideskole for this event.
All the organizing team, leaded by Kare Liadal, President of the Norsk P.R.E. Avslsforening , did a really good job during the event.

Luis Lucio was judging all the classes and good quality of horses and riding were noticed.

Second meeting of the "Dressage Talents Program" organized by the Spanish Equestrian Federation in Gran Canaria.

The "Dressage Talents Program" was created by the Spanish Equestrian Federation in 2009, and has as a purpose to detect and help the improvement of the Dressage Talents in Spain till 15 years old.

Different Clinics are organized in 5 areas along the country and also in Canary Islands. Three professionals in charge of the Spanish Equestrian Federation are travelling to Gran Canaria, Luis Lucio as a National Director of the program and Technical trainer, Álex Gordillo as a Sport Psychologist, and Francesc Corbi as a Physical Trainer.

Last week end the second meeting of this Talents program was held in Gran Canaria, at the "Cortijo Club" riding facilities.

A total of 13 couples were selected to this meeting and they come with their trainers and parents. The activities were a big success and due to the level of horses and riding , good results in competitions are espected in the short future.

Good results for Luis Lucio horses at the Concurso de Doma Nacional 3* held in Club Hípico Oliva Nova, Valencia, from 11th Hill the 13th May.
Great facilities and good organization in the first dressage event at Oliva Nova Equestrian Center. More than 150 horses were competing during three days at Oliva Nova Center.

Last week end, March 3rd and 4th, organized by the Spanish Equestrian Federation, the "Dressage Talents Program"

The "Dressage Talents Program" was created by the Spanish Equestrian Federation in 2009, and has as a purpose to detect and help the improvement of the Dressage Talents in Spain till 15 years old.

The different Clinics are organized in 5 areas along the country and also in Canary Islands. Three professionals were travelling to Gran Canaria, Luis Lucio as a National Director of the program and Technical trainer, Álex Gordillo as a Sport Psychologist, and Francesc Corbi as a Physical Trainer.

That was the first time that the Spanish Team of the Talents Programs was travelling to Gran Canaria and that was because the good results of Canary islands riders in last Spanish dressage Championships 2011.

The activities were a big success and look forward to keep on with the project in the future.

This year Sunshine Tour, Luis Lucio was riding for training, the mare "KK Delia", owned by Claudine & Martin Kroll from Switzerland. Family Kroll own the Equestrian Centre "KK Hofor" in Eggenwil (CH).

Last 7th to 9th October, 2011 Spanish Dressage Championships were held in Madrid, at SEK Club.

With a good number of competitors in all classes and a great organizing Team run by Center Director Juan Heredia, the competitions were on for 3 days.

Luis Lucio & OS-NERVI were placed 3rd in GP Finals.

Last november Salón Internacional del caballo de Pura Raza Española , SICAB 2010, was held in Sevilla.
SICAB is the world biggest event for P.R.E. horses.
Dressage COPA ANCCE 2010 finals were also organized during the event.

In Grand Prix level, the best 12 spanish couples all over the year, were compiting during two days for final ranking.

Last October 9th to 11th, was held in Mulhouse an International
Paradressage event, CPEDI***.

The Spanish Team selected was composed by Sonia Villalba,
from Madrid and our rider from Sant Andreu de Llavaneras, trained
by Luis Lucio, Alba Silva.

A good organisation but very bad weather were the highlights
of this meeting in France were we could see a great number
of dressage riders coming from different countrys all over the world.

Is important for our country that Sonia from Madrid was third placed
on the first competition day and got the qualification to go to
the London 2012 Paralimpic Games.

Alba Silva, riding for the first international Show her new
horse "Palmero"; was not able to get this 60% needed to the
Paralimpic meeting but showed a good improvement all along the days
in Mulhouse.

We look forward to Alba´s and Sonia´s next events and results.

Last September, organished by the Spanish Equestrian Federation,
(RFHE) was held in Madrid a National meeting for paradressage riders.

For some days, a Technical Team of the RFHE run different activities
in order to know and select the members of the first team will be
sent to international events during this next year.

First show will be a CPEDI*** , October 9th to 12th in Mulhouse,
France.

The RFHE has a plan to send somo couples in Paradressage to
the London 2012 Paralimpic Games.

The rider from San Andrés de Llavaneras, Alba Silva, trained by
Luis Lucio, was one of the two riders selected for this event.

Next November the 15th will be at Banyoles, the annual show of Fira de Sant Martiría 2009.

This event comes from the last century and is considered the oldest livestock event in Spain.

Organized by the Ayuntamiento de Banyoles every year welcome hundreds of horses , bredders and riders for the different competitions along the event.

The more famous is the Funcional and Morfological competition of P.R.E. horses.
Again and for the fifth time, Luis Lucio has been elected as a judge
for this competition.

International Dressage Trainers and Judges FN Seminar.
Warendorf (RFA), September 2009.

Last September, 5th to 8th was held in Warendorf (RFA),
an International Dressage Trainers and Judges Seminar
organished by the German Equestrian Federation (FN) in the
DOKR facilities.

Under the expert direction of Dieter Schüle , Dietrich Plewa and
Christoph Hess, more than 50 countrys send some their
representatives for this interesting event.

Around 120 Judges and trainers were following the Seminar during
four days with the unique oportunity of wachting and commenting
the tests seen at the Bundeschampionat 2009.

Luis Lucio was the only representative of the Spanish Equestrian
Federation in the event.

The Spanish Equestrian Magazine "Top Iberian", was present and
covered the event with a journalist.

Last May and Juny, Luis Lucio was acting as a Morphological Judge in two important competitions of Pura Raza Española (P.R.E.) horses in EQUINA COSTA BLANCA 2009 de Alicante and FIRA CAMBRILS 2009 in Cambrils (Tarragona).

Good quality and great number of stallions & mares compited under ANCCE rules, and both shows offer good facilities and organisation in
an overall high level event.

for riders and horses in Ganadería Cortijo "Las Morerias", N.L.,

"Cortijo Las Morerías" is one of the most world famous
breeding centers of P.R.E. horses Pura Raza Española P.R.E.,

From December 2008, Spanish Olympic rider Luis Lucio will
give Dresage Clinics in Aix en Provence region, Marseille, France.

Professional riders and amateurs will have Dressage training with
Luis every month.

French dressage rider Stephan Cerboni will be in charge of
the organization of the Clinics.

First trianing sessions were December 1st and 2nd and have
great succes.

Susanne Neff, who has been trained last years as student and
Parelli Professional with Pat & Linda Parelli team in Pagosa
(Colorado USA) and Okala (Florida USA) , will become staff
member of the Dressage professional Team of Olympic dressage
rider Luis Lucio, in Centro Ecuestre de Llavaneras ,
Barcelona (Spain).

Susanne, was born in Germany and keeps on in her equestrian
training looking forward to become Licensed 2* Parelli
Professional next summer 2009 in USA.

She has lots of experience in horse training all over Europe and
has been one of the best students in Parelli Natural
Horsemanship (PNH) training courses in USA, specially
in "Colt start" areas.

For his 6th time, Luis Lucio will be member of the Jury at the world biggest event about P.R.E. horses, the International SICAB in Sevilla, end of November 2008.

More than 1.200 P.R.E. horses will be fighting for the "best of the show" in diferent classes.

Last November the 5th was held ay the Spanish Olympic Comittee in Madrid , the elections for President of the Real Federación Hípica Española.

The former President D. Javier Revuelta del Peral was reelected for the next four years.

Also were elected the members of the Comisión Delegada de la R.F.H.E.(Deputy Comission).
As sportsmen representatives were elected the riders Luis Astolfi and Luis Lucio.

Last November the 16th was held at Banyoles, the annual show of
Fira de Sant Martiría 2008.

This event comes from the last century and is considered the oldest livestock event in Spain.

Organized by the Ayuntamiento de Banyoles every year welcome hundreds of horses , bredders and riders for the different competitions along the event.

The more famous is the Funcional and Morfological competition of P.R.E. horses.
Again and for the fouth time, Luis Lucio was elected as a judge for
this competition.

Last October 30th , 31st and November the 1st, was held in Valle de Bravo, Mexico, the 2008 International P.R.E. horses Salon.

Organished by the Asociación del PRE de México, who´s President is D. Joaquín Quintana, this event welcomed the best Pura Raza Española P.R.E. horses from Mexico and other equestrian activities as a showjumping competition and a Corrida de Rejones (Bullfighting festival) with famous portuguese rejoneador Joao Moura.

For the second time, first was in 2001, Luis Lucio was there as a judge.

Last October 23rd and 24th a representatives comission of the de Generalitat de Catalunya Departament de Agricultura Alimentació i Acció Rural with Luis Lucio as a Technical Adviser of the ECAE (Equestrian Professional School of Barcelona), were in visit to Warendorf.

The agenda of this visit was to know the facilities of DOKR , the German Equestrian Federation (FN) and the State Stud/German riding School Nordrhein-Westfälisches Landgestüt in Warendorf, in order to establish new cooperation programs for the futur.

The Catalonian Governement has a very ambicious project to move the ECAE ( Equestrian Professional School ) facilities from Hospitalet
( Barcelona) to a new School with big facilities in accordance with Federation, Bredding and Veterinarian representatives from Catalonia.

This new project is going to be developed in 2009/2010.

Last Juny, from 12th to 15th was held in Institución Ferial Alicantina (I.F.A.) a new P.R.E. event "Salón de caballos P.R.E. 2008".

Organished by the Asociación Alicantina de PRE , the competition was a great succes.

The comfortable facilities of IFA couldn´t be better for this event.

Luis Lucio was judging all the classes with a total of around 200 horses competing.

Good results for Luis Lucio and his riders in dressage competitions on Circuito del Sol "Sunshine Tour 2008" CDI *** held in Montenmedio, Vejer de la Frontera, Spain, March 08.

After 3 week of competitions, the P.R.E. stallion OS-NERVI, owned by Cavalls dels Serrats riden by Luis Lucio, finished as best P.R.E.
horse in General Ranking of Small Tour class , and was sixth , best spanish result, in the Final Small Tour Invitational Kur Freestyle, with 65,83%.

Luis Lucio and OS-NERVI , were the only spanish finalists in this final class, Final Invitational Kur Freestyle.

Spanish International P.R.E. Championships.

For his 5th time, Luis Lucio will be member of the Jury at the world biggest event about P.R.E. horses, the International SICAB in Sevilla, end of November 2007.

More than 1.000 P.R.E. horses will be fighting for the "best of the
show" in diferent classes.

Spanish Olympic rider Luis Lucio gives for second year , a Dressage Clinic for NHB Deurne students.

31st October in Holland, Luis Lucio will work with the students of the famous and wellknown school of NHB Helicon Deurne.

The Clinic is organished by Marion Schreuder, Head of the Equestrian Departement NHB Helicon Deurne, and Willy Koppens, General Director of the school.

Summer 2005, some students from NHB Helicon Deurne were with Luis Lucio in Barcelona, following a project of professional riding education.

Last year this Dressage Clinic with Luis Lucio was organished by
the first time and the experience was a real succes.

Again this year the head of the Equestrian Departement, Marion Schreuder will have Luis Lucio working with their students.

Marion Schreuder and Luis Lucio will meet each other at the Global Dressage Forum 2007 in Hooge Mierde before the Clinic and travel together to the School when the event finishes.

Swedish P.R.E. Championships.
September 2007, Strömsholm, Sweden.

During 22nd and 23rd September, the Swedish P.R.E. horses ( Pure Spanish Breed horses) Championships were held in Strömsholm, Sweden.

Due to the interest in dressage of the organishing comitee, Spanish Olympic dressage rider and Judge Luis Lucio , was nominated as a unique judge of this event.

Good organisation and nice horses were compiting in the diferents classes and also doing exhibitions and dressage tests along this two days in the facilities of the Equestrian School Strömsholm.

Lyla is coming to help dressage trainig team of Luis Lucio during the stay of Carmen Cama in USA.

Carmen Cama , who normally helps Luis stable in Parelli Natural Horsmanship areas, will be in Colorado (USA) for some studies during this summer.

Pat & Linda Parelli send Lyla to Barcelona to help Luis horses and riders to keep improving in their PNH daily practice during this period.

World Dressage Championships disabled 2007.

Last 18th to 22nd July, World Dressage Championships Disabled were held in Harpbury (GB) , with a Spanish Dressage team as a competitor.

Very good organisation for a big event during some days with lots of rain.

Alba Silva from S.A. de Llavaneras, Barcelona, was for her first time in a international show compiting Grade II F.E.I. level, doing nice tests that give her, some days, best placings in Spanish team.

Carmen Cama and Luis Lucio, were in Harpbury to help Alba in the competitions with warming-up on line following the PNH principles and dressage training.

Spanish Equestrian Federation is trying to promote this dressage competitions for the spanish riders and hope in the future will become competitors in more international events of the F.E.I. circuit.

From 19th to 22nd July, World Dressage Championships Disabled will be held in Harpbury (GB).

Alba Silva, from San Andrés de Llavaneras (Barcelona), former Catalonia Champion and Silver Medal Spanish Championships, will be member of the Spanish Team with 2 more couples.

Alba will ride in F.E.I. Paralimpics Clas II her mare "Oly".
Luis Lucio will be in Harpbury training Alba and "Oly" trying to get their best.

Weekly, "Oly" is trained by Luis Lucio following clasical dressage principles and also Parelli Natural Horsemanship concepts.

Daily training is held by Alba´s mother Paquita, who will be in Harpbury taking care about every final detail.

We wish the best for Alba and "Oly", and look forward its participation in next Pekin 2008 Paralimpic Games.

Dressage competitions results.

Good results for Luis Lucio in dressage competitions on Circuito del Sol "Sunshine Tour 2007" CDI *** held in Montenmedio, Vejer de la Frontera, Spain, March 07.

After 3 week of competitions, the Holsteiner stallion LAKANDI, owned by Morgan Barbançon Mestre ridden by Luis Lucio, finished second in General Ranking of 40 participants "Owners" class, and was third in the Final Invitational Kur Freestyle, with 67,91%.

During some days late November 06 , Linda and Pat Parelli were again in Llavaneras Equestrian Center , Barcelona, with Luis Lucio.

Lots of activities together, specially to prepare new Natural Horsemanship assistant of Luis Lucio´s team, Carmen Cama.

Carmen will be the responsable of the training in Parelli Natural Horsemanship concepts of the dressage horses in Luis Lucio stables, a very expert and interesting new project.

Also Dressage exercices as canter pirouettes, piaffe and general techniques for streaching were practised by Linda and Luis during this days.

During 1st , 4th, 5th and 6th November, Luis Lucio will give some Dressage Clinics in Holland and Bilbao ( Spain).

From 19th till 22nd past July, Pompadour (FRANCE) had its annual CDI*** in wich PONY FEI classes, Morgan Barbançon riding "FS GINO ROYAL" was compiting represinting Spain.

For this couple, it was the first international event out from Spain.

Gino got 63,83% in the Preliminar FEI Test and 64,12% in the FEI Team Test.

Last day, in the Individual FEI test, Morgan achieved a score of 63,33%, best spanish mark on this Final test of the CDI.

Congratulations both, Morgan and her poni GINO and best wishes for the future.

With 70,30% , OS-NERVI was second in Finals Spanish Championships COPA ANCCE Dressage, in Salón Internacional del Caballo PRE of Sevilla, SICAB 2005 .

Winner of the FEI Preliminary Test with 70,80% , Luis Lucio riding OS-NERVI , has been second in Finals COPA ANCCE Dressage 2005 for 6 years old PRE horses.

This year, OS-NERVI has won four tests in the competitions of Toledo, Valencia, Final MAPA Madrid and SICAB.

Only four young horses in 6 years old class finals, got the "Excelent" label for dressage during the final competition in Madrid, end October this year.

Os- Nervi with Luis Lucio, got a final score in average of the 3 qualifying tests of 70,10%, second place in overall clasification labelled as "Excelent" young horse for dressage by the M.A.P.A. in this finals 2005.

After a low mark with the Jury of the first day "Presentation Test", Os-Nervi won the Preliminary Test with 71,20 % and was second in the Final test , also second in the final general clasification of 6 years old young dressage horses.

Big succes of the 6 years old stallion OS-NERVI in the dressage competitions in Valencia and Toledo, October 2005.

With high marks till 82% in 6 years old horses FEI test, OS-NERVI was winner in the finals of Toledo and ended third in finals of Valencia.

With this results OS-NERVI try to qualified for the 2005 Finals in Seville, during International Horse Show SICAB, end of this year.

During their Tour 2005, Linda and Pat Parelli have found some moments to visit again their friend Luis Lucio in Barcelona.

For some days, Linda & Pat worked with Luis Lucio and their horses, "Os-Nervi" and "Titanic", the Alvaro Domecq´s young stallion that has been broked with Parelli sistem. Also the Assistant Team Riders of Luis Lucio, had the oportunity to assist to this special private lessons with Linda and Pat improving their knowledge about Parelli Natural Horsmanship methods.

Also joined us this time, very special guests as our Dressage Medalist Beatriz Ferrer Salat, The President of the Spanish Dressage Comitte Rosa Mª Fradera and the french top jumping rider Michel Robert with Luca Moneta from Italy.

During three days we rode , talk and practice about riding and Savvy horsmanship.

We wish to have soon again the visit of Linda and Pat to learn and enjoy with them so much as those lats days.

Last July , Luis Lucio travelled again to Pagosa Springs (Colorado) and Denver , to work with Linda & Pat Parelli in Dressage and Parelli Natural Horsemanship Projects.

During the stay, Luis Lucio improved his knowledge and understanding about the program of Natural Horsemanship that Linda and Pat Parelli have been developping in the last years and work together with Linda Parelli in Dressage matters.

Also, Luis Lucio follow them to the demostration days in Denver.

A Clinic of Reining given by the World Champion Craig Jhonson was performed during th last days.



From here, Luis Lucio would like to say Linda & Pat Parelli, Stephanie Burns , Katja Toureg , Craig Jhonson and to all the team of the Parelli International Center , thanks again for the friendly welcome and for the interesting working days lived together.

First Dressage Competition for "Titanic".

Some days ago, finished the last edition of the Interantional Dressage competitions 2005 "Sunshine Tour", in Dehesa Montenmedio, Cadiz, Spain.

The five years old spanish breed stallion owned by Alvaro Domecq "Titanic", finished 4th in the Final of 5 yeras old horses in this important International Dressage meeting that held three International dressage competitions in south of Spain.

Titanic was doing its first show in Montenmedio and the progression of marks were quite interesting.
After showing its strong stallion caracther, 40% in the first test, "Titanic" improved till the end getting the 4th position in the Final of the 5 years old horses.

Marietta Whitages , IO Judge in the finals, said:
"..Titanic was the best horse saw in the class and needed more experience in competitions to get the top standart of marks we are waiting in the futur..."

"Titanic" is a interesting project runned by Pat & Linda Parelli and Luis Lucio to get to the top International Dressage Competitions a spanish stallion trained with both methodes at the same time, Parelli Natural horsmanship and traditional Dressage training.

We look forward the next shows and progression of "Titanic", the start couldn´t be more interesting and succesful.

"The Happy Athlete"


During last October 25th and 26th, in the family Bartels´s Horse Academy held in the duch village Hooge Mierde,in Holland, was this year Global Dressage Forum edition.

As last two years, this international meeting brings together the best riders, trainers, judges and dressage supporters all over the world.
Also the annual Assembly of the International Dressage Rider Club and the International Dressage Trainer Club was celebrated there and as a Spanish representatives we had Beatriz Ferrer-Salat and Luis Lucio.

Out of the enormeus interest of the ideas and opinions exchanging about the thecnical matters trought the theorical and practical sessions, this year meeting has brought to the discussion the FEI interest about the concept of the "happy athlete".

This new phrasing "Happy Athlete" in the new FEI rules, has brought about many discussions.

Concepts as athlete and dancer, effort and satisfaction, calme and tension, wellfare and sport activities are going to bring lots of discussions, opinions and also some confussions.
Dressage world should think in a deep and serius way about it and try to establish a clear and unanimous interpretation.

We hope that expert judges, riders and trainers, following the directives of the FEI, will together find the right aplication of the "Happy athlete" philosophie in the daily lives of our horses and also in the competitions.

The care of the mental and emotional wellbeing of the horse will be always something accepted by everybody of the horseworld and without any doubtes about its interest and oportunity.

The top competition in the last years has clear showed that for the big results we need good trained and also willing horses, not only to achieve the succes in the shows, also to be sure of the futur acceptance and promotion of the equestrian sports.

Could be is the right time to invite to this meetings to a experts in the horse mental and emotional behaviours as Pat Parelli from USA to help us.
There is an incredible amount of knowhow, information and experiences that could make us more experts in the horses minds, it seems that we are already experts about the horses bodys..!

Congratulations to the FEI for this initiative.
Now is time for us to try, day by day, to change our horse into a "happy athlete" or, at list, into a "happy friend".

During their European Tour 2004, Linda and Pat Parelli have found some moments to visit their friend Luis Lucio in Barcelona. For some days, Linda & Pat worked with Luis Lucio and their horses, specially "Titanic", the Alvaro Domecq´s young stallion that has been broked with Parelli sistem. Also the assistant riders of Luis Lucio, Paco Esteve and Tamar Zafra, had special private lessons with Linda and Pat improving their knowledge about Parelli Natural Horsmanship methods.

A party organished by Manuel Garcia & Olga, owners of Yeguada Roja Farm, made possible that Jean Bemelmans, Spanish National Dressage Trainer, joined Linda&Pat and some other friends in a very nice atmosphere were we could enjoy the company and the talent of this two world top class horsemans.

Also joined us for this special ocassion: Rosa Mª Fradera and Dolores Fdez. Bobadilla from the Spanish Equestrian Federation, Katherina Braren and Pedro García from "Los Arcos" Stallions Center of Madrid, Cecile Glamour Veterinarian expert in the Parelli Sistem, Rafael Farriols and family as PRE horses breeders, and some other friends.

We wish to have soon again the visit of Linda and Pat to learn and enjoy with them.

Last end of July beginning August, Luis Lucio travel to Reno (Nevada) and Pagosa Springs (Colorado) to work with the famous Linda & Pat Parelli in a nice and interesting project of friendly and professional collaboration.

During the stay, Luis Lucio had the opportunity of improve his knowledge about this impressing program of Natural Horsmanship that Linda and Pat Parelli have been developping in the last years, and work together with this two riders looking forward to professional collaboration and exchange in the short futur.

From here, Luis Lucio would like to say Linda and Pat how much apreciate the friendly and gentle welcome that he felt in Colorado, feeling really like at home, and give thanks for so much knowledge has achieve during this stay. From those days on, a lot of new understanding about the horses behaviour had been discovered and for sure, their use will be helpful in the horse sports world.

Also some words to give special thanks to the top learning expert Stephanie Burns for all her teaching and profesional advise.

European Dressage Juniors Championships 04. Aarhus (Denmark). July 04.

Ignacio del Romero riding "Avalon 25" was rider member of the Spanish Dressage Junior Team compiting in this year European Dressage juniors Championships in Aarhus, Denmark, July 04.

A wonderful show with nice facilities and very efficient organisation held in the Danish Official Equestrian Center in Vilhemsborg.

Junior Spanish Team was placed 5th and one of the riders, Alex Cabanes, was in the Final. Congratulations.

Spanish Junior Dressage Championships Juny 04 . Montenmedio. Vejer de la Frontera (Cadiz).

Ignacio del Romero riding "Avalon 25" was Bronce Medal in the Spanish Dressage Juniors Championships 2004 finals in Montenmedio.

The final composition of the Spanish Dressage Junior Team is already closed and Ignacio with his chesnut Hannoverian "Avalon" , will be for his third time, member of the Spanish Junior Dressage Team in Denmark next European Championships in July.

Ignacio and "Avalon" had been very succesful since began in Junior level in 2000, getting already the membership in the Spanish Team in Iserlohn (GER) in 2001 and Rome (ITA) in 2002.
