Since
1980, Luis Lucio has
consolidated his position as an elite
trainer through his ongoing presence and representation
in leading national and international events.
Ever since the first participation of the Spanish National Junior
team, made up entirely of his pupils in 1985 at Goodwood, G.B.,
until he achieved the best position for a Spanish Young rider
(14th Overall Standings) in the 1999 Young Riders European Championship
in Ksiaz, Poland, he has won almost one hundred medals.
He has been training Juniors and Young Riders compiting up to
10 European Dressage Championships.
As
a rider, he rode
his first International G.P. in 1987 and he has been member
of the Spanish Olimpic Dressage
Team in the Olimpic Games of Atlanta
1996, and Sidney
2000.
In the course of his long career, he has been actively involved,
either as a member or representative, in most of the organisms
related to the world of Riding.
Another
of Luis Lucio's professional areas is the Spanish Pure Breed
horse P.R.E.
Through his work as a video producer, author of books and articles,
speaker and lecturer, Luis Lucio is a firm believer in the promotion
of classical dressage and Spanish horses.

The grey´s were still behind, not for a long time...
Luis Lucio plays a very important role in the consolidation
of our national horse in the world of classical dressage, and
he has, ever since his early days, favoured the inclusion of
the Spanish P.R.E. horses in sport programmes.
